DEPUTIES MAKE ANOTHER DRUG ARREST

On December 28, 2016, Tishomingo Sheriff Deputies attempted to make a traffic stop due to witnessing a vehicle swerving in the roadway around the area of CR 90. As deputies attempted to stop the vehicle, the driver threw an item out the window. Once the item was thrown from the vehicle, the suspected vehicle stopped for law enforcement. The deputies approached the vehicle and spoke with the driver. While the deputy was speaking with the driver, the other deputy walked back to where the item was last seen being thrown from the window of the suspects’ vehicle. The deputy retrieved the item, which appeared to be a large amount of some alleged METHAMPHETAMINE. The driver was transported to the Tishomingo County Jail at this time.
BILLY DON HALL, 34-year-old, white male of 30 CR 42 Dennis, Mississippi was officially charged with POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (METHAMPHETAMINE) WITH INTENT TO SELL. HALL also has a hold placed on him by the Mississippi Department of Corrections. HALL is also awaiting bond to be set by Justice Court on his drug charges, he remains in custody of the Tishomingo County Jail.
