LARGE AMOUNT OF METH FOUND ON TRAFFIC STOP

On October 3, 2019, Tishomingo County Narcotic Investigators along with deputies from the sheriff's office, conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle leaving a business in the Town of Tishomingo. This particular vehicle and its occupants have been part of an ongoing drug investigation being conducted by the Narcotic Investigators. During the course of the traffic stop, deputies discovered that the driver and passenger had alleged METHAMPHETAMINE on their persons. It was also discovered that the passenger had an amount so large for an enhancement charge to be brought against him by the investigators. Both the driver and passenger were transported to the Tishomingo County Jail.
DEVIN MOSS, 31-year-old, white male of both 98 CR 321 Iuka, Mississippi and 784 Sonny's Road Mantachie, Mississippi was officially charged with FELONY POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (METHAMPHETAMINE). MOSS's bond was set by the Tishomingo County Justice Court at $5,000.
NICHOLAS HENDRIX, 26-year-old, white male of both 66 CR 216 Burnsville, Mississippi and Mt. Gilead Road Golden, Mississippi was officially charged FELONY POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (METHAMPHETAMINE) W/INTENT TO SELL. HENDRIX's bond was set by the Tishomingo County Justice Court at $10,000.
This case remains under investigation by the Tishomingo County Sheriff's Office. Further arrests may be pending.
