TWO CHARGED WITH MANUFACTURING OF MARIJUANA

On July 30, 2019, Narcotic Investigators with the Tishomingo County Sheriff’s Office along with Agents with the Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics (MBN), received information that METHAMPHETAMINE and other narcotics were being sold from a residence located at 64 CR 190 in Iuka. Investigators also received information of MARIJUANA plants growing on the property as well. A SEARCH WARRANT was then issued by the Agents and Investigators and seven MARIJUANA plants along with some alleged METHAMPHETAMINE along with some drug paraphernalia was discovered in and around the residence. The owner of the residence and an occupant of the residence were both arrested by law enforcement and transported to the Tishomingo County Jail.
DONNA EVANS, 65-year-old, white female, of 64 CR 190 Iuka, Mississippi was officially charged with MANUFACTURING OF MARIJUANA and FELONY POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (METHAMPHETAMINE). EVANS’ bond was set by the Tishomingo County Justice Court at $2,500.
CHESTER SEAGO, 55-year-old, white male, of 64 CR 190 Iuka, Mississippi was officially charged with MANUFACTURING OF MARIJUANA. SEAGO’s bond was set by the Tishomingo County Justice Court at $2,500 as well.
