OUTSTANDING WARRANT LEADS TO DRUG ARREST

On June 12, 2019, Tishomingo County Sheriff’s deputies were conducting a safety checkpoint on CR 944 in Burnsville. During the checkpoint, a vehicle approached the deputies and the deputies discovered that the driver of the vehicle had a warrant for their arrest from the Town of Burnsville. Deputies immediately placed the driver under arrest and during a search of the driver, deputies found some alleged METHAMPHETAMINE on the driver. The driver was then transported to the Tishomingo County Jail.
JARED WEBER, 29-year-old, white male, of 2206 Proper Street Corinth Mississippi was officially charged with FELONY POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (METHAMPHETAMINE) and also has a misdemeanor FTA WARRANT for the Town of Burnsville. WEBER remains in the custody of the Tishomingo County Jail awaiting bond to be set by the Tishomingo County Justice Court.
