TISHOMINGO DEPUTIES MAKE MORE FELONY ARRESTS

On June 7, 2016, at approximately 1:00 am, Tishomingo Sheriff’s deputies went to a residence in the Paden, Mississippi area due to complainants of illegal activity going on around the Railroad Avenue area. When the deputies arrived they confronted several individuals at the residence who were in the yard. Once the deputies secured all the individuals as well as the homeowner, a search yielded that some of the individuals there were in possession of some alleged METHAMPHETAMINE along with some MARIJUANA. The deputies also found several weapons that were in close proximity of the alleged narcotics.
The Tishomingo Sheriff’s Department charged three (3) Suspects with the following charges there from the residence in Paden. Their names and charges are:
- TIMOTHY SHAWN RUSH – 41-year-old white male, of 3663 CR 961 Tishomingo, Mississippi = charged with POSS OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (METHAMPHETAMINE).
- KAREN GENE KENNEDY – 57-year-old white female, of 15 Railroad Avenue Paden Mississippi = charged with POSS OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (METHAMPHETAMINE).
- DONALD WAYNE TIMMONS – 55-year-old white male, of 214 Saddle Club Road Golden, Mississippi = charged with POSS OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (MARIJUANA).
All three (3) of these individuals are still in custody of the Tishomingo Sheriff’s Department and are currently awaiting bond.
Also on June 7, 2016, officers with the Tishomingo Sheriff’s Department as well as the Tishomingo Police Department went to a residence on County Road 118 in Tishomingo County to remove an individual from the residence at the request of the homeowner. Once the officers arrive on scene they met with the Suspect, RYAN JUSTIN HILL, who had on his possession, some alleged METHAMPHETAMINE that was found in his pocket. The officers also found items, or “Pre-Cursors”, that could be used in the manufacturing of METHAMPHETAMINE.
RYAN JUSTIN HILL, 36-year-old white male, of 58 CR 118, Tishomingo, Mississippi, was transported to the Tishomingo County Jail where he was officially charged with POSS. OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (METHMAPHETAMINE) as well as INTENT TO MANUFACTURE (METHAMPHETAMINE). Justice Court Judge set HILL’s bond at $7,500.00.
Sheriff John Daugherty wants to give credit to those concerned citizens that are living in these communities that are assisting his agency in getting these type of people out of our area. Sheriff Daugherty stated that “It takes everyone working together to make a difference”.
