ECSTASY ARREST MADE IN TISHOMINGO COUNTY

On November 10, 2017, the Tishomingo Sheriff’s Office was conducting a Safety Check-Point in the area of CR 172 in Iuka. A vehicle approached the check-point and deputies could smell a strong odor consistent to Marijuana, coming from the vehicle. The driver was asked for his driver’s license, which the driver informed the deputy he had no driver’s license. The deputies asked about the alleged Marijuana odor coming from the vehicle and the passenger of the vehicle admitted to the deputies that they had smoked some Marijuana prior to arriving at the safety check-point. The passenger then handed the alleged Marijuana over to the deputies and a search of the vehicle yielded some alleged Ecstasy was found in the vehicle as well. At this time, both the driver and passenger were arrested and transported to the Tishomingo County Jail.
CALVIN DOCKEN, 19-year-old, black male of 1008 South Fulton Street Apt #43 Corinth, Mississippi was officially charged with FELONY POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (ECSTASY). DOCKEN had a bond set by Justice Court in the amount of $2,500.
IESHA WARREN, 19-year-old, black female of 57 CR 553 Rienzi, Mississippi was also officially charged with FELONY POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (ECSTASY). WARREN’s bond was also set at $2,500 by Justice Court.
Both DOCKEN and WARREN were also charged with MISDEMEANOR possession of controlled substances and the FELONY cases will be presented to the next available Grand Jury.
