CORINTH WOMAN ARRESTED ON DRUG CHARGES

On October 28, 2017, Tishomingo Sheriff’s deputies stopped a vehicle on HWY 72 in Burnsville for a switched tag. After speaking with the driver of the vehicle, another vehicle stopped behind the deputies. The deputies were able to get a CONSENT TO SEARCH on both vehicles, due to the interaction with both drivers. During the search, some alleged METHAMPHETAMINE was found in one of the vehicles. A driver claimed responsibility for the alleged METHAMPHETAMINE and was arrested and transported to the Tishomingo County Jail.
AMANDA HICKS, 37-year-old, white female, of Gains Road Apartment Corinth, Mississippi was officially charged with FELONY POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (METHAMPHETAMINE). HICKS remains in custody at the Tishomingo County Jail on a $3,000.00 bond set by Justice Court. HICKS also has a hold placed on her by Pontotoc Police Department.
