TRAFFIC STOP LEADS TO DRUG ARREST OF CORINTH WOMAN

On September 29, 2017, deputies from the Tishomingo County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle on Front Street in Burnsville. During the course of the traffic stop, deputies learned that the driver had a suspended driver’s license. While the driver was being arrested, deputies saw some alleged METHAMPHETMAINE in the front seat of the vehicle. The passenger of the vehicle claimed possession of the alleged narcotic and was subsequently arrested. Both the driver and passenger were transported to the Tishomingo County Jail.
JERICA DAVIS GRIMES, 37-year-old, white female, of Corinth, Mississippi was officially charged with FELONY POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (METHAMPHETMAINE). GRIMES remains in custody at the Tishomingo County Jail.
