RIENZI WOMAN ARRESTED FOR DRUGS

On July 1, 2017, Tishomingo Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a missing person call around the area of CR 293.  When the deputies arrived in the area, they noticed several people were there and some appeared to the be under the influence of alcohol and / or drugs.  The reported missing person was located by the deputies there and while speaking to this individual, the deputies could smell a strong odor of MARIJUANA coming from inside of one the vehicles.  One of the occupants of that particular vehicle admitted to the deputies of possessing MARIJUANA and a further search of said vehicle yielded some alleged METHAMPHETAMINE.  At this time, the owner of the vehicle was arrested and transported to the Tishomingo County Jail.

SAMANTHA JOHNSEY, 22-year-old, white female, of 397 HWY 356 APT.#6 RIENZI, MISSISSIPPI was officially charged with FELONY POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (METHAMPHETAMINE).  JOHNSEY bond was set by Justice Court.
