SUSPICIOUS VEHICLE LEADS TO FELONY ARREST
April 10, 2017
On April 6, 2017, Tishomingo Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a call of a suspicious vehicle that was sitting in front of a business in Burnsville. Once on scene, the deputies noticed two individuals inside the vehicle and the deputies were able to speak with the occupants. The deputies asked for and received Permission to Search the vehicle, and found some alleged METHAMPHETAMINE in the pockets of one of the individuals. The other individual, a female, had an OUTSTANDING WARRANT for her arrest and so both of them were transported to the Tishomingo County Jail. Once there, Correctional Officers found a hypodermic needle that appeared to contain alleged METHAMPHETAMINE, hidden on the body of the female. This added additional charges to the female as well.
- JEFFERY ALLEN GREEN, 34-year-old, white male of 5 CR 285 Corinth, Mississippi was officially charged with FELONY POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (METHAMPHETAMINE). GREEN’s bond was set at $3,500.00 by Justice Court.
- SUSAN BUMPOUS, 37-year-old, white female of 40 Harmony Hill Road #22 Burnsville, Mississippi was officially charged with INTRODUCTION OF CONTRABAND (NARCOTICS) INTO CORRECTIONAL FACILITY. BUMPOUS’s bond was set at $2,500.00 by Justice Court.
Sheriff John Daugherty would like to thank the citizen for calling the vehicle in to be checked on, to the Tishomingo Sheriff’s Department.
