ANOTHER TRAFFIC STOP LEADS TO DRUG ARREST

On October 12, 2016, Tishomingo Sheriff’s Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a pickup truck that was losing some of its items out of the bed of the truck. Deputies stopped the truck on Front Street in Burnsville, Mississippi and was able to speak to the driver of the truck, DANNY LANE WILSON. During the course of the traffic stop, deputies leaned that WILSON had a suspended driver’s license. WILSON was then placed under arrest for driving on the suspended license. During the course of the arrest, Burnsville Police officers found alleged METHAMPHETAMINE on WILSON as well as several AMPHETAMINE pills. WILSON was then transported to the Tishomingo County Jail.
DANNY LANE WILSON, 51-year-old white male, of 36 Front Street Burnsville, Mississippi was officially charged with 2 counts of FELONY POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (METHAMPHETAMINE). WILSON remains in custody at the Tishomingo County Jail awaiting bond to be set.
