JOINT AGENCIES MAKE FELONY ARREST

On January 4, 2020, The Tishomingo County Sheriffs Office assisted the Mississippi Department of Transportation (MDOT) in the charging of NICHOLAS LEWIS BOULDEN of Los Angeles, California.  BOULDEN approached the westbound scales on HWY 72 and was asked to pull to the side where he consented to a search of his tractor and trailer.  A small amount of alleged MARIJUANA was discovered in the cab of the tractor as well as a firearm.  A background check on BOULDEN was ran and discovered that he was in fact a FELON with several charges from the state of California.  BOULDEN was then arrested and transported to the Tishomingo County Jail.  A further check on the firearm was ran and was discovered to be a reported stolen firearm from the Las Vegas, Nevada area.  BOULDEN was then transported to the Tishomingo County Jail.

NICHOLAS LEWIS BOULDEN, 41-year-old, black male of 6720 West Blvd Apt B Los Angeles, California was officially charged with POSSESSION OF WEAPON BY FELON and POSSESSION OF STOLEN FIREARM.  BOULDEN's bond was set by the Tishomingo County Justice Court in the amount of $7,500 for each charge.
