ARREST WARRANT LEADS TO DRUG ARREST

On April 4, 2019, Tishomingo County Sheriff’s deputies along with the Iuka Police Department, went o 609 West Third Street in Iuka to serve an ARREST WARRANT.  When law enforcement arrived, the found the individual listed in the ARREST WARRANT and immediately detained them.  During the arrest, the homeowner attempted to hide a bag of alleged METHAMPHETAMINE, but was caught by the officers.  Both were then transported to the Tishomingo County Jail.

MARTHA TAUBMAN, 56-year-old, white female of 609 West Third Street Iuka, Mississippi was officially charged with FELONY POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (METHAMPHETAMINE).  TAUBMAN’s bond was set by the Tishomingo County Justice Court at $3,000.
