CEMETERY VANDALIZED

On August 5, 2018, Tishomingo Sheriffs Investigators arrested a BOBBY RAY HILL for the vandalization of BETHANY CEMETERY, that occurred around the 17th of July of this year.  The cemetery is located at the end of CR 105 in the Tishomingo area   HILL is accused of destroying several of the tombstones in the cemetery and currently the Tishomingo Sheriff’s Office is awaiting an estimated cost for repairs for the tombstones to give to the court for restitution.  Some of these tombstones date back to the 1800’s.

BOBBY RAY HILL, 19-years-old, of 18 CR 116 Tishomingo, Mississippi was officially charged with DESTROYING PUBLIC PROPERTY, CHURCH BUILDING OR CERTAIN CEMETERY ITEMS.  HILL has a court date set in October in Justice Court.
